My Story
Born and raised in New York City, I fell in love with creating music early in life. Early influences from jazz, rock, blues and R&B have culminated in diverse expressions of music. As a teenager my guitar influences included Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, Leslie West, George Benson and others. My exposure to jazz included the music of John Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders, Archie Shepp and many other jazz legendary players. I spent a few years playing guitar for the Grammy Award winning R&B group the original Delfonics, that afforded me the opportunity to share the stage with groups including the Stylistics, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes with Teddy Pendergrass, Blue Magic, Kool and The Gang, and othe greats. Creating meditation music has become a passion of mine as many people, as well as myself are in need of "retreat time" from our busy schedules. The meditation music helps us to enter into a spaciousness in which we can be attentive to our innermost, often neglected, authentic self.
